I’ve been in Australia for nearly five months, and I only just got close enough to a Koala to touch it. This little guy was just hanging out at Kennett River Caravan Park in a short tree near the walking path. We just walked up and watched him eating his Eucalyptus leaves for a while before approaching him to pet him a bit. He had no problem with it and I think he actually enjoyed it!
