If you’re like me, you want to make things happen. You also have friends who are trying to succeed in their respective fields. Most, if not all of you will have social media accounts, and post updates to your followers about the things you do — whether it’s writing, making videos, starting a business, or anything else.
What is often underestimated by people who want to succeed themselves is the power of connecting and collaborating with friends and colleagues who are on similar missions. If you want to succeed, the best way to do it is to help them succeed, and in turn they will return the favour.
How do you do this when you don’t have time to help them? Don’t have money to invest? Don’t have a network to share their work on?
Just engage with their content. It’s that simple. Like their posts, comment, share. It doesn’t matter if you have 50 followers or 10,000, and the same goes for them. Simply by liking, commenting on, and sharing their content, the number of likes/shares/comments goes up, which lends them public credibility (for FREE), but having organic engagement also ranks them higher in algorithms on social, so it will directly do them a lot of good!
All this, with next to no effort on your part. The best part is, that they will recognize that you do it, and start to do the same for you, then your networks can grow and build together. It is an investment of $0 (and next to no time) that will compound in the long run to help both of you grow together.
