Surfing in Jervis Bay – Caves Beach

Finally I got to go surfing!

Jervis bay has tons of great beaches. The most iconic is Aussie Pipe, which is nearby, but I went first to Caves Beach. It was a really lovely beach, with next to nobody around. The nice late afternoon sun mirrored off the sand to create a really beautiful scene.

The swell was relatively small, but the offshore wind and good conditions made for a good day nonetheless.

It was my first surf in over a month so I was a little rusty, but still managed to get some good shots! I’ll be posting a video about surfing at each beach I go to from now on, as a sort of a guide.

Let me know what you think!
